A contemporary aesthetic was brought to life in the new VIP Suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium for the US Open tennis tournament. A demolition of the 28’ x 28’ space included a full kitchen and restroom. For a less interrupted flow for guests, a unique service corridor with a discrete entrance was designed with loads of storage for the catering staff. The 3-dimensional entrance wall welcomed guests into the suite with an upscale contemporary look. Guests felt pampered in the refined aesthetic of artistic wall treatments including metal and acrylic printed graphics, a printed slat wall, and 3-dimensional tennis ball wall. The stylish amenities and finishes throughout the suite included porcelain tile and hardwood floors and plush seating areas to compliment a curved contour of the floor’s design. The interior design of the suite also included high-end appliances and fixtures as well as Roadwerx custom-built cabinetry in the entrance, kitchen and restroom made of a mixture of fine wood finishes and metal details.
