For Viacom’s annual client ski weekend, Roadwerx was tasked with transforming a Wyoming hotel ballroom into a family friendly mountain lodge for guests while strategically incorporating all of Viacom’s brands. A custom timber framed structure built to mimic mountainside signage brought the outdoors in and created an opportunity to showcase oversize program hero images as guests arrived and checked in. To create a welcoming atmosphere, a grab and go snack station was laid out with custom crafted snack baskets made from recycled skis. Meanwhile, as their parents completed their check in, the youngsters were entertained at a Nickelodeon sponsored “Kids Only” area, equipped with branded games, coloring books, and toys featuring their favorite characters. Underscoring the outdoorsy theme, a full size ski gondola and a snowy backdrop created a great family photo opportunity in the lobby. Vintage suitcases were branded with Viacom’s core brands to make certain they were represented in each photo.

Each morning at the hotel, rustic sundries baskets, laser engraved with the Viacom Lift Ticket logo, were put out before breakfast and filled with everything guests could possibly need to get them through a long day on the slopes. To help the skiers easily find their instructors, colorful custom flags were printed and placed outside at the ski chalet each morning. As a treat for the kids après ski, a s’mores bar was created under a laser engraved sign and stocked with individually branded kits.
To give guests a quiet place to relax between activities, Roadwerx converted the hotel library into a client branded sanctuary. A custom structure, built and assembled on site, complemented the rustic design of the room. Television show still shots were inserted into recessed panels throughout the library to organically incorporate the brands into the space. And to give the youngsters their own area to kick back and have fun, Roadwerx added a giant white board coloring wall for their creative scribbles. Some of the existing library furniture was dressed up with specialized covers to create gaming tables. For the teens, there was MTV branded backgammon, and for the younger kids, Nickelodeon checkers.

Guest families were hosted at an evening to remember when Roadwerx rented an iconic Jackson Hole restaurant for a themed family night. Subtle touches of Viacom branding were added to the “Kids Bar” such as special mocktails, and television show content was featured on monitors throughout the restaurant. A custom designed and built shipping pallet wall set up where families and friends took photos. The evening was topped off with a performance by country music stars Maddie & Tae, followed by a meet and greet session for all guests.
The adult only crowd was treated to a private evening of music and dinner at the Teton Pines Country Club. Roadwerx transformed the clubhouse into an intimate setting for a cocktail hour before ushering the guests into a private dining room. Each table was adorned with custom branded votive centerpieces, menus, menu holders, and table numbers. Guests enjoyed a private acoustical performance by Jason Isbell followed by a chance to chat with the performers.
